Oberlander to Meet With Local Residents
Jenks, Barnett townships added to 63rd District

CLARION – Rep. Donna Oberlander (R-Clarion/Armstrong/Forest) will be hosting a meet and greet event on Thursday, Feb. 12, as a way to get to know local residents now residing in the 63rd Legislative District.

Due to population shifts and the resulting legislative reapportionment, Jenks and Barnett Township residents in Forest County, are now part of the 63rd District. This change took effect on Dec. 1.

The Meet and Greet event will be held on Thursday, Feb. 12, from 6-7:30 p.m. at the MACA Building, located along Pine Street in Marienville.

“This event is designed to introduce myself to the area and to facilitate the lines of open communication between the new part of the district and my office,” Oberlander said. “I welcome residents of these townships to come out to meet my staff and me and to learn more about how we can help with state government questions and requests.”

In addition, beginning Feb. 18, she will be holding constituent outreach hours at the Marienville Public Library on the first and third Wednesdays of the month from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
