Oberlander Invites Seniors to Nifty Sixty Expo Aug. 5
CLARION – Senior citizens ages 60 and older are invited to stop by the Clarion Mall on Friday, Aug. 5, for Rep. Donna Oberlander’s (R-Clarion/Armstrong/Forest) Nifty Sixty Expo.

“Each year, seniors from all over come together at the Clarion Mall to learn about a wide variety of programs and services available to them,” Oberlander said. “From health care to exercise and nutrition to personal and financial safety, seniors are able to ask questions from the experts on site. This helpful interaction allows seniors to ask follow-up questions and see if the services meet their specific needs.”

In addition to the listed topics above, information will be available on insurance, financial planning, government savings, hunting-fishing opportunities and personal safety.

As in previous years, the expo will be held at the Clarion Mall, located along Route 68 off Exit 62 off Interstate 80. The mall is air conditioned for seniors’ comfort and ample seating is available inside for seniors to take breaks.

Door prizes will be awarded, and lunch will be served at noon.

There is no cost to attend.

A Senior Expo for Armstrong County residents, co-hosted by Reps. Oberlander and Jeff Pyle, along with Sen. Don White, will be held Wednesday, Aug. 31, at the Kittanning Township Volunteer Fire Department along Route 422.
