Oberlander to Discuss State Issues at Upcoming Open House Events in June
CLARION – To hear directly from residents of the 63rd District about the state-related issues impacting them, Rep. Donna Oberlander (R-Clarion/Armstrong/Forest) will hold two open houses at her district offices in June.

“These informal gatherings are a way for me to talk one on one with local residents to hear about the issues that affect them,” Oberlander said. “For me to best represent the people of our area, I consider it a priority to meet with residents in person as much as possible and encourage them to reach out to me about the issues affecting them. These open houses are a great way to foster open lines of communication, and I encourage everyone to attend.”

The open houses will be held at her district offices on the following dates:

• Thursday, June 9, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., Armstrong County District Office, 309 Saltwork St., Elderton.
• Friday, June 10, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., Clarion County District Office, 160 S. Second St., Suite C, Clarion.

In addition to a discussion of state issues, Oberlander’s staff will be on hand to help residents with applications for a number of state programs, including the Property Tax/Rent Rebate program, the PACE and PACENET prescription drug assistance programs, and the Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP).

No advanced registration is necessary, and picnic-style refreshments will be available.
