Oberlander to Welcome Residents for March 13 Open House in Elderton
ELDERTON – To help familiarize Armstrong County residents in the 63rd District with the services available from her Elderton district office, Rep. Donna Oberlander (R-Clarion/Armstrong/Forest) will host an open house on Friday, March 13.
From 1-3 p.m., residents are welcome to stop into the office, located at 309 Salt Work St., in Elderton.
“For many residents in northeastern Armstrong County, this office provides a more convenient link to state government,” Oberlander said. “From PennDOT paperwork for licenses, registrations and more complicated tasks, to assistance with PACE/PACENET and Property Tax/Rent Rebate forms, my staff is happy to assist.”
Residents will be able to meet with Oberlander and her staff during the event. Light refreshments will be served.
After the reapportionment process took effect on Dec. 1, some changes to the 63rd District were made to Armstrong County legislative boundaries. The district added Redbank Township to the north, while Boggs Township was added to the 60th District.
The district continues to include South Bethlehem, Dayton, Atwood, Rural Valley and Elderton boroughs, along with Hovey, Mahoning, Pine, Madison, Washington, Bradys Bend, Sugarcreek, Perry, Wayne, Cowanshannock and Plumcreek townships in the county.
