Oberlander to Host Firearms Safety and Rights Seminar
CLARION – Rep. Donna Oberlander (R-Clarion/Armstrong) will host a Firearms Safety and Rights Seminar on Saturday, May 10, from 10-11:30 a.m. This no cost seminar will be held at Structural Modulars, 101 Southern Avenue in Strattanville.

“This seminar is a unique opportunity for law-abiding firearm owners to expand their knowledge of existing gun laws and get a better understanding about freely and responsibly exercising your right to keep and bear arms,” said Oberlander. “We will have two very knowledgeable speakers and there will be plenty of opportunities for participants to have their questions answered.”

Presenters Clarion County District Attorney Mark Aaron and Clarion County Sheriff Rex Munsee will focus on a wide variety of firearms safety and Second Amendment subjects including:

• How to obtain a permit to carry a concealed weapon.
• Circumstances under which a permit can be revoked.
• What to do when coming in contact with a member of law enforcement while carrying a concealed weapon.
• Details surrounding Pennsylvania’s Castle Doctrine and other valuable information regarding state gun laws.

Concealed carry license applications through the Clarion County Sheriff’s Office will also be available at this event.

Seating is limited and will fill up quickly, so interested individuals should pre-register as soon as possible by calling Oberlander’s Clarion district office at (814) 226-9000. For more information, download and print out a seminar flyer at RepOberlander.com.
