CLARION – Rep. Donna Oberlander (R-Clarion/Armstrong/Forest) invites residents ages 60 and older to attend her annual Nifty Sixty Expo at the Clarion Mall on Friday, Aug. 4, from 10 a.m. to noon.

“This Nifty Sixty Expo is a great way for seniors, their caregivers and family members to learn more about the variety of services and programs available right here in Clarion County,” Oberlander said. “The best part about the expo is the opportunity for seniors to receive information and have their questions answered in person.”

The Nifty Sixty Expo includes exhibitors specializing in health care, exercise and nutrition, personal and financial safety, insurance, financial planning, hunting and fishing activities and savings programs.

This year’s expo will continue to be held at the Clarion Mall, located along Route 68 near Exit 62 of Interstate 80. The mall is air conditioned for seniors’ comfort.

Door prizes will be awarded, lunch will be served at noon, with entertainment by the Rev. Jimmy Swogger throughout the event.

There is no cost to attend.

A Senior Expo for Armstrong County residents, co-hosted by Reps. Oberlander and Jeff Pyle (R-Armstrong/Butler/Indiana), along with Sen. Don White (R-Indiana), will be held Wednesday, Sept. 6, at the Kittanning Township Volunteer Fire Department along Route 422.
